Product Description

Vision is a preferred future. A destination. Vision always stands in contrast to the world as it is. Visioneering, according to bestselling author Andy Stanley, is "a clear mental picture of what could be, fueled by the conviction that it should be." With warm, down-to-earth practicality, Andy Stanley explores the ordinary life of Nehemiah and his God-given vision for accomplishing the extraordinary. He shows how the life of this great ancient visionary, determined to rebuild the ruined walls of Jerusalem, reveals principles that can prepare us to find and follow God's multifaceted vision for our own lives. Now in affordable paperback!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the BEST books on leadership and vision I've read!, November 17, 1999
      By A Customer
Andy Stanley is an excellent author and story teller. This book is one of the best books on leadership/vision that I've read in a long time. Andy has taken a fresh and very practical approach to the subject of vision and leadership. These are principles that are applicable to everyone - not just those in a "ministry" or "professional" position. This is a MUST read for those in a transitional period in their life or for anyone who would like to enrich their life.

This is a great book on vision, it helps the reader learn how to develop biblical vision and shows you how to carry it out. it uses the story of Nehimiah in a way that is just amazing I hope that you enjoy this month's read. Please comment on your thoughts.

"How can I adequately describe the credibility, wisdom and authenticity that Mark DeVries brings to the table in his new book? Sustainable Youth Ministry is the byproduct of his decades of fruitful, Christ-honoring ministry. Like few people I know, Mark has the experience and perspective to deeply impact anyone serious about youth ministry. Even more pivotal, Mark is honestly one of the most authentic and refreshing Christians I have met in a long time. So grab a good cup of coffee and start reading!" ----Jeanne Mayo, president, Youth Leader's Coach, speaker and author

      Review

"This is the youth ministry book we've all been waiting for. With wit and wisdom, Mark DeVries draws from a deep well of experience as both a youth pastor and youth ministry consultant to teach us how to build the 'dance floor' that will not only keep our youth ministries alive but help them to flourish. This is a hopeful, optimistic book that should be read by anyone who cares about youth ministry in the local church."

      • ABOUT BOOK OF THE MONTH

Each Month we will have a new book to read, the book will be a great resource to help sharpen you as a leader. on the blog each week we will comment on how the book has taught us something new. Our first read will be a short read on 64 pages, I thought it would be appropriate to start us off. This will be a great read to remind us of how Satan has stolen Christmas. I cant wait to hear what God will lay on your heart by reading this fun little book.
